FAQs

Good to know before you book.

The questions we get asked most often, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, just ask us — there's no charge for a question before you book.

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us, whether you're paying privately or claiming on insurance. Some insurers ask for a GP referral as part of their own process, so it's worth checking your policy.
How much does it cost?
An initial assessment is £50 for 30 minutes, follow-ups are £45 for 30 minutes, and an extended or sports assessment is £80 for 60 minutes. That's the full price — no booking fee, and no charge for asking a question beforehand.
Can I be seen outside working hours?
Yes — that's how we're set up. Appointments run Monday to Friday from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm. We're closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear something you can move in — shorts or leggings are ideal. Bring any scan results or letters about the problem, a list of any medication you take, and your policy and authorisation number if you're claiming on insurance.
Will treatment hurt?
Some hands-on treatment and exercise can feel uncomfortable, and being a bit sore for a day afterwards is normal. It shouldn't be needlessly painful — tell us at any point and we'll adjust what we're doing.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem, and we won't pretend to know before we've assessed you. We'll discuss a realistic plan after your first appointment and review it honestly as you go.
What if physiotherapy isn't right for me?
We'll tell you at the assessment rather than booking sessions you don't need. If your symptoms suggest you should see your GP or another specialist first, we'll say so and explain why.
Can physiotherapy fix my problem for certain?
We can't guarantee a particular outcome — everyone's situation is different. What we can offer is a proper assessment, an honest read of it, and a structured plan to work towards your goals.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You're welcome to bring a friend or family member, and you can ask for a chaperone to be present at any point during your appointment.
What's your cancellation policy?
[To be confirmed: notice period required and any fee — this will be set out in full in our Terms & Conditions.]
Is my information kept private?
Yes — your records are handled in line with UK GDPR. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights over it.
What if I'm not happy with my care?
Tell us, and we'll take it seriously. Our Complaints Procedure sets out how to raise a concern and what happens next.
